Instructions
1
Upgrade your mobile modem's firmware. Having the latest version of the mobile's firmware can strengthen its signal, as well as fix bugs and improve its system functionality for better performance. The mobile modem manufacturer's website will typically have the firmware available if it does not provide over-the-air updates.
2
Go to an area that offers the best network capability for your mobile Internet modem. These are typically known as hot spots, and some manufacturers like AT&T offer 3G network in certain districts. Check the company provider's website or call their customer service line to find out the hot-spot locations nearest you.
3
Move your mobile modem device closer to an open space or a higher elevation, such as a window or upstairs. Walls are one of the factors that hamper Internet signal strength and, therefore, lower your speed.
4
Attach a signal booster antenna onto your mobile modem's antenna jack (see "Additional Resources," below, for a link to a visual sample). These devices can assist in amplifying the reach of your modem and access farther networks that it could not normally connect to without a signal booster.
5
Use your mobile Internet device during off-peak hours. These off-peak hours include after 11 p.m. and before 6 a.m. During this time there is less network traffic, so your connection will be stable and less prone to lag issues.

How to Increase Mobile Internet Speed
Most phone companies such as Verizon and AT&T offer mobile modems. These are small devices that you can affix into your USB port on your laptop to access the Internet without being connected through an Ethernet cable or other wires. Having a mobile modem means you can work in places where it would normally be impossible, such as parks or dining establishments. However, many factors can affect the speed of your mobile modem. Learn how to increase your mobile Internet speed.
Increase the Speed of your Internet connection- Broadband Hack
Previously I was thinking like we cannot increase the broadband speed. The reason is we are getting a fixed bandwidth from ISP so there is no way to improve the speed due to this fixed bandwidth. Later I found one tweaking program while searching in forums called TCP/IP optimizer. After using TCP/IP optimizer I feel a noticeable increase in download and upload speed so I would like to share the same idea with my readers. I would like to let you know at the beginning itself that I am not a part of this program development but I just used this program and experienced improvement in my Internet speed. I know it would be better if I show some results from my PC itself. So I provide screen shots of my Internet connection speed before and after using this program for your reference. The pictures I provide below show the Internet speed I was getting (throughput) before installing TCP/IP optimizer and the current Internet speed I am getting.

The latest version of NetworkAcc added support for tuning internet speeds of major Indian mobile carriers like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea ,Reliance, Aircel etc. Like in Windows we can speed up internet using multiple connection methods and by blocking unwanted services. There are hidden network configurations that users wont be able to access manually . We mentioned such configurations of Firefox and Internet explorer 8 in case of Windows. NetworkAcc automatically configure all such configurations for mobile devices and boost speed to the maximum possible value.
Download NetworkAcc mobile internet accelerator for Blackberry, Nokia and Java phones.
NetworkAcc uses a wizard driven process to improve internet speed in installed mobile phones. You just need to select GPRS, 3G or the corresponding connection type, mobile carrier, operating system and proceed to optimization.
Increase mobile internet speed
We earlier covered few methods to access free GPRS from Airtel mobile in India. One of the main problems of GPRS internet is that it’s very slow. BSNL started 3G services in many states of the country. But rest of India relies on GPRS service for accessing mobile internet. The speed of mobile GPRS varies from 6 KB/sec and above based on network availability and plans chosen. Most time we won’t get the advertised mobile internet speed. One solution is to increase mobile internet speed use a mobile web browser like Opera that uses special compression technology to deliver web pages. Another method is to use mobile software like NetworkAcc. Network accelerator aka NetworkAcc from emobistudio tunes mobile internet access both in device side and network side. It can be used to speed up internet in 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and other telecommunication networks.
NetworkAcc is able to improve internet speeds in Blackberry, Nokia and Java supported Samsung, LG mobile devices. It is a shareware application. But the full version costs as low as $7 that you would be able to afford.
